Relief organisations LandsAid

LandsAid e.V. is a nonprofit, charitable humanitarian nongovernmental organization (NGO) based in Munich (formerly in Kaufering near Landsberg am Lech). The organization was founded in 2006 and provides humanitarian emergency aid and development cooperation worldwide.

To date, the organization has been active in more than 220 projects and relief missions in over 40 countries, including Syria, Turkey, Germany, Ukraine, Mozambique, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Venezuela, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, and Yemen.

LandsAid’s work aims to provide rapid and professional assistance to people who are in distress due to natural or environmental disasters, armed conflicts, or oppression. Humanitarian emergency aid will always be targeted and time-limited. Nevertheless, within the scope of its capabilities, the organization strives to empower those affected to help themselves and thus offer them prospects for the future.

This goal is implemented in three areas:

1. Rapid emergency medical aid
2. Humanitarian project work
3. Training and awareness-raising

Assistance is provided based on need. Whenever possible, LandsAid seeks to draw on local resources to implement its initiatives.

The LandsAid team views international cooperation based on partnership and contact with people from other cultures as an opportunity to promote mutual understanding. People are deliberately encouraged to learn from one another.
